My very own little!

My daughter is 6 months old....don't really know how that happened so quickly but it's true. I am really grateful that she is such a happy, healthy and fun little baby. She really is a joy, the first couple months were such a crazy adjustment to this Parenthood thing. My baby suffered from severe and painful acid reflux. It broke my heart but once we figured that out we immediately put her on meds and they helped her greatly. She needed them until around 5 months old. She outgrew it just like the doctors said. So we have started giving her solid foods. Since I'm a SAHM I have time to make all her foods and I really enjoy it, honestly. I get to bake, boil, steam and puree everything that my little person eats. It's exciting  for her and I. She enjoys every bite. She loves to eat and sleep these days......she is soooooooo my daughter. Sleeping & eating are my most favorite things, hers too these days. She used to get so hungry that she would wake up every couple hours at night just to eat and go back to sleep immediately  But now....thank God, she sleeps from 10-12 hours at night and usually takes 2 naps a day for as long as 2 hours. It is amazing! I get so much done during the day....but then I miss her while she is napping.
I'm so thrilled that she is growing by leaps and bounds! She's such a doll. Can you imagine how excited I am?!
I am O B S E S S E D with taking pictures of her, it's kind of ridiculous but oh well....she's my baby I can do what I want. LOL!
Here are just a few fun pictures from the last week or two.

This is quite comical...I give her a ball to play with  but when she discovered the tag on the boppie she left the ball to the side and had a field day with the tag, Ha! My little girl is hilarious.
No need to buy toys, if something has a tag she'll be entertained.

In the mornings I find her with one leg free from her jammies and not one button undone...I'm always  impressed!
Who can resist chunky little baby thighs?! Not I!

Majesty

I have been thinking about the word MAJESTY, it's defined as greatness, impressive dignity, supreme power and authority. When I think about God that is a perfect word to describe him....
It humbles me to think of Him and all of His majesty. I am literally in awe of Him.
Let all that I am praise the Lord. O Lord my God, how great you are! You are robed with honor and majesty. (Psalms 104:1 NLT)
It makes me feel so unworthy to even be called His friend let alone His child.
Me? A child of the MOST HIGH God & Creator of THE universe....insanity!

I want an interior makeover...sometimes I feel like I need God to just start from scratch with me....my heart has been so full of requests, needs, worries and the anxiety of what's to come that sometimes I want to just stop and let Him sink in ....really sink in.

Life has a way of being terrible, painful and yet precious & glorious. Am I making sense? Lately, my interior is crying for a makeover. In these past few weeks I must say that God is doing all of that in me. I'm not sure where He is heading with me but I'm enjoying the ride. I have felt a lot closer to Him than I have in a LONG time. I got so wrapped up in me and my life and I just forgot that I begin and end in Him. In His presence I feel so full. The Bible says there's a fullness of joy in His presence and I can truly feel that....I need that. I need God to rain on me. It's been a long while since I cried in His presence until recently and boy does that feel so good.

Lord, let me be changed by your presence and clean out this hot stinkin' mess of a human that I am....but let me be in YOUR hands. Stamp me with your majesty even though I'm so unworthy, thank you for loving me beyond the person that I am and seeing me for who you're creating me to be. Please don't finish with me yet. Amen.
I hope that I've encouraged someone.. Love ya'll!

Gateway Arch tour!

Yup! I did it! I may have been scared out of my mind but I did it :)
We went to the top of the Arch and it was BEEEEAUUUUTIFUL!!!
The wait in line was about an hour but felt like forever because we waited outside in the cold! The ticket to go up was only $10 but the view was glorious!
We could see all of Downtown St. Louis on one side and part of Illinois on the other side. Spectacular!
So the ride up to the top was scary. It's about 4 minutes in a small cube like "elevator" where 5 people sit tightly together. Have I ever mentioned my serious claustrophobic issue? Ummm yea I tried not to freak out but I kinda did.
My family all thought it was hilarious, I however did not.
After that we enjoyed walking around downtown and got to see the Cardinals stadium and the beautiful courthouse. Such a great city!

Crafting bug!

So I've got the craft bug big time. Over the last month I've been fairly busy unpacking, organizing my house, settling in and adjusting to a new schedule with my lil one.
Oh I just love playing with her all day, even those these days she sleeps so much...[she's just like her momma]
While my youngin' is napping I'm keeping myself busy. Lately, I've had the 'need to craft bug' bad though. I wanting to sew, create, paint and do so many things but I don't know where to start. Today I even started 3 projects at the same time...I'm nuts I'll tell ya! But when it comes to decorating I can NEVER make up my mind. I have a few ideas I'm throwing around and suggestions are much appreciated. So here's what I got so far.... Tell me what you think?!
I posted this here picture on my IG account for help and my sweet friends gave excellent input as well as other ideas, needless to say I still haven't made up my mind, all the while adding more options to choose from....
Mostly everyone picked the last option and the second option got 2nd place. Hehe!

This area was one of the first things to go up and I loved it but now the empty space under the table is getting to me so I filled it with photo books, any thoughts?!
